TRANSITION TO ADULTHOOD

Offered year-round, this type of training provides practical teaching to teens and adults with Autism. This is mostly community-based training module designed for learners of all functioning levels. Clients in the transition to adulthood learn theoretical skills carried over to various community and home settings. The training includes socialization, health and nutrition, recreation opportunities, physical fitness and personal grooming. Additional training focuses on development of talents and pre-vocational skills training.
