AUTISM AND OLD AGE: Future Directions Group

INTERNATIONAL AUTSM FOUNDATION recognizes the realities of children with Autism as they approach old age. This is an unstoppable rule of life. Old age is a life condition that parents and caregivers may have to think seriously as years go by.

Future Directions (FD) is  designed to address basic issues in Autism Adult Stage and Old Age.

CSEMAT clients 20 years old and over are eligible to attend this group.

The expected outcomes are:

Clients learn simple functional knowledge they can use in case they are employed in real work situations.

Clients acquire basic skills needed when they engage in self-employment.

Clients practice social, functional and vocational skills.

Clients acquire practical skills for future personal development, old age and self-worth.
